Protect the Contents:
Bubble Wrap
Make sure to bubble wrap breakable belongings and cushion with clothes and towels.
Place
Remember to place clothes and small items in plastic bags to keep together and safe.
Seal
Always seal boxes so the tops are flat.
Secure
Please secure items so they do not shift during transport.
Keep
Don’t forget to keep electronics in original packaging.
Distribute the Weight:
Mix Up
Be sure to mix up heavy and light items in each box.
Pack
Please remember to pack so each box can be lifted by humans. Be kind on our Heavy Lifters.
Place
The heaviest items should always be placed on the bottom of each box.
Label the Boxes:
Label
Make sure to label boxes with breakable items as “Fragile”.
Mark
The contents of each box should be marked so you know what is in each one before you unpack.
Organize
Organize boxes with #’s so you know the order you want to open them in.
